How is training priced?
Personal remote training is $50/hour, billed in 30-minute increments at $25 per 30 minutes. Home visits are $75 for the first hour, including travel anywhere in Hampton Roads, then $50/hour. Small-business support is $85/hour. Installation and custom work are quoted individually. We confirm the scope and rate before booking.
Do I need to know Linux already?
No. Training can start with the basics. Omarchy has a different workflow from Windows or macOS, so a willingness to learn keyboard shortcuts and some terminal basics helps.
Can it run on my current computer?
That needs a compatibility check. Send the make and model, the software you depend on, and any important peripherals. We'll discuss the options before installing anything.
Will installing it affect my files?
Changing an operating system can affect existing data. We'll discuss backups and the installation approach before work begins, including whether to use a separate machine or drive.
Does Omarchy make AI free or fully local?
No. AI tools have their own requirements, accounts, and possible subscription costs. Running models locally depends on the software and hardware you choose. We can help you understand those choices.
